General Rules & Instructions
1. Entry deadline is Monday, October 2, 2017 for the protein analysis to be completed by Texas A&M University Forage Testing Laboratory. Entry Fee is per bale or sample and helps defray the protein analysis charge.
2. Entries will be accepted from residents of Kerr County. Entries accepted at Kerr County Cooperative Extension Office, Kerrville, Texas.
3. An entry shall consist of one bale. In the case of loose stacks or round bales, a sample will consist of approximately 20 pounds of hay, bound and tied. Producer may enter as many bales as desired. Entry fee is due when bale is submitted.
4. Entries may remain on display during the Kerr County Fair but must be removed by 6:00pm Sunday, October 29, 2017.
